Bridgstock '05 (18, 19, 20, 21 July 2005) incorporated a marquee outside the theatre as the venue for a semi-informal acoustic set before moving the audience inside for the main rock show. Among the highlights of this very popular section was the Fran Band's performance of "Dead Flowers", and an impromptu jam session featuring Alex Halford on "Johnny B Goode" (made necessary to stall for time when the power in the Theatre cut out!).The main show opened with Clare Mountain's stirring rendition of "Vertigo", soon followed by new comer Amy Price who thrilled the audience every night with "Ironic". Alfie Penfold shook the Theatre to its foundations with a powerhouse head-banging rendition of "Paranoid" which would have made even Ozzie proud. More classic rock was also present in the form of Hannah Little's "Jumpin Jack Flash" (another firm favourite with the audience throughout the week), and Joy Mumford's "Sweet Home Alabama".
Tim Price's delivery of "With Or Without You" held everyone spellbound, and was followed by the lighter mood of the Staff Band's "Mony Mony". Other performers included Luke Box, Jana Van Wyk, James Marsh, Sian Fawcett, David Little, Ellie Keys, Fran Alton, Ben Welch, Rebecca Wallis, and Adam Kenney, whose "Back In Black" was selected by the show's cast to be the encore.
"Bridgstock '05" was Mr Marcus Glanville's final show as Musical Director with the West Bridgford School.
